![]() I was a long time simmer but now when I look back, I saw it for what it is. It's even worse when you compare Sims 4 base game to 3 or 2 base games which has more content than 4. Expansions are supposed to add in stuff that you couldn't include for the base games, ideas that devs didn't think of when making the base game but when they keep omitting those features for 2 games now, it's not "We got new gameplay idea to include into the game" but more as "We deliberately cut it out to sold back to you for 40 bucks because we're owned by EA". ![]() Example being why does Sims keep releasing base games without basic features such as Seasons or Pets when it should have been in the base game since Sims 3. When you think about Sims as a series, releasing base games and then the inevitable Expansions, you'd realize how egregious it is.
